2.4 Advertising-related information (mobile app)

- Ad request, fill/no-fill
- Impression/click/dismiss
- Error diagnostics
3. Information We Do Not Currently Collect for Accounts
At this time, gameplay is guest-based and does not require a traditional user account with username/password. We do not currently integrate first-party web analytics SDKs on the website.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide core gameplay features and scoring
- Operate online sessions and leaderboards
- Retrieve and display property data for gameplay context
- Prevent abuse and duplicate submissions
- Maintain app/backend reliability and troubleshoot issues
- Serve and measure in-app ad delivery (mobile)
5. Data Sources and Third Parties
- Property data providers: Property and listing-related data is fetched through third-party API providers via RapidAPI integrations in backend services.
- Cloud infrastructure providers: Backend services are hosted on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch).
- Advertising providers: The mobile app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK components.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share data only as needed with service providers that help us operate the product, such as cloud hosting providers, property data API providers, and advertising providers. Leaderboard information may be visible to other players in leaderboard contexts.
7. Storage and Retention
7.1 On-device storage (mobile)
The app stores gameplay, profile, session, and search data in device local storage, including active game session state, lifetime profile and recent sessions, recent property searches, and online session identity cache. This local data remains until cleared by app behavior, app reset/uninstall, or user action.
7.2 Online session backend retention
Online session records (session metadata, participants, submissions) are configured with a time-to-live window of approximately 7 days.
7.3 Daily leaderboard retention
Daily leaderboard entries are stored in a dedicated backend table. Current configuration does not apply an automatic expiry; entries may persist until manually removed or retention policies are updated.
8. Security and Token Handling
We use reasonable technical measures to protect service data, including opaque session and invite tokens for online session flows, server-side token hash comparisons for participant/session validation, and Secrets Manager for backend API credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Cookies and Website Tracking
The current website does not integrate first-party analytics trackers or implement a cookie consent flow. If tracking or cookie usage is added in the future, this statement will be updated accordingly.
10. Children's Privacy
Holy House Prices is a game product and may be used by a broad audience. If you believe a child has provided personal information in a way that should be removed, contact us using the details below so we can review and act appropriately.
